| The 4th Asian Physics Olympiad has finally come to an end. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event. Special thanks should be given to all 10 delegation teams, both the leaders and their students. They did their best in the competition and seemed to enjoy every moment here in Thailand! The most important group of people we would not forget is LO of the 4th APhO. What an excellent job they all did! Thanks so much to all you guys! ... See you at the 5th APhO in Vietnam ... |

The Fourth Asian Physics Olympiad was held at Mahidol University from 20-29 April, 2003.
The Royal Thai Government and Thai people warmly welcome delegations from all countries to visit Thailand.
This Olympiad is jointly supported by the Ministry of Education, the Promotion of Academic Olympiads and
Development of Science Education Foundation under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani
Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra (POSN), Thai Institute of Physics, Mahidol University and
the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST).
The venue of the 4th APhO is Mahidol University, one of the most prestigious universities in Thailand, recognized for its outstanding achievements in teaching, research and professional services. |

Symbolism of the Logo
Two orbiting lines signify invention or discovery in nature without any limit all over the universe.
They also signify motion and orbits of celestial bodies.
Four lines in the shape of a Thai-style roof signify the spirit of competition in the Fourth
Asian Physics Olympiad 2003 in Thailand, leading to further and continuing progress and advances.
The red, white and blue colors
signify the national flag of Thailand, the Land of Freedom and the organizers of the Fourth
Asian Physics Olympiad 2003.
The gold color signifies prosperity.
